David M. Berger Installed as the 53rd President of the AAA‐CPA

U.S. (June 27, 2016) – David M. Berger of Los Angeles, CA, was installed as the 53rd President of the American Academy of Attorney‐Certified Public Accountants (AAA‐CPA). Mr. Berger was installed on Friday, June 24, 2016 during the academy’s Annual Meeting & Education Conference held in Maui, Hawaii. John W. Pramberg of Boston, MA became Immediate Past President.

Mr. Berger literally grew up alongside AAA‐CPA as a child, listing to and watching the founding members as they fought for their rights to practice in both professions. He became a member in 1981, the same time as his father, Richard, was installed as President, also in Hawaii. A product of those early day prohibitions, David maintains two separate solo practices in Studio City, CA, focusing on tax preparation and controversy, estate planning, probate and distressed real estate litigation.

In addition the following officers were also installed: Jo Ann M. Koontz of Sarasota, FL as Vice‐President; Eric J. Rollinger of Rockville, MD as Treasurer; William Le Vay of Houston, TX as Secretary; and
Howard O. Bernstein of Boulder, CO as Assistant Secretary/Treasurer.
