Program Description
The course will concentrate on a general overview of the modern life insurance environment and specific issues regarding estate planning, income planning, charitable planning, and, specifically, the tax benefits associated with life insurance ownership. Review of term and cash value policies in detail, as well as how to determine the product that works best with your client’s needs and carrier financial strength.  The session gives a general overview of traditional and esoteric uses of insurance products in estate planning and wealth distribution strategies with real-life examples and case studies.

Lunch provided for in-person attendees!

Learning Objectives
This course will provide:
- An overview of the basics of life insurance. This will include a summary of term insurance, whole life, universal life, variable universal life, carrier information and their financial strength.
- Complex and sophisticated life insurance techniques and tools in estate, taxation, income, and charitable planning.
- Increase knowledge on the present life insurance environment from trends in today’s market, premium financing and life settlement market. 

Education
This program offers 1.0 CPE credit and should offer 1.0 (M)CLE credit - Self Report Only. (M)CLE credit for other states may be permitted via self-reporting.


AAA-CPA will only report education credit to the state bars of dues-paid members; any state reporting fees will be the responsibility of the member.
